Krishan Kumar Garg a “Karam Yogi” was born on 19th Feb, 1940 at Dhanaula, District Sangrur, Punjab.

His father Shri Mangat Rai Garg was a Tehsildar and his mother Rukmani Devi Garg was a pious and religious lady. Krishan Kumar Garg was the second child among 5 siblings. Krishan Kumar Garg was a brilliant student right from the childhood.

He was strongly influenced by Bhagavad Gita teachings and was known for his karmic zeal as a student. He was president of the Student Union of S.D. College, Barnala. He was an avid player of Basketball .He was captain of the Basketball team of Law College, Punjab University, Chandigarh.

He joined Punjab Civil Services in 1966 and rose from a moderate beginning to high office of Registrar General Punjab & Haryana High Court. Mr Garg held various judicial posts across various cities in Punjab. During his tenure as a Judge, he dealt with many complicated cases and pronounced landmark judgments. During his life time, Mr Garg has touched life of many people in all sectors of social life.

Krishan Kumar Garg was a man of rare gifts. Apart for his professional capabilities he had an in-depth understanding of academic matters and keen interest in a large number of fields. Despite his heavy schedule he always found time to actively associate himself with the academic and co-curricular activities. He was Member of Modi Education Society, Patiala. Under his guidance Multani Mal Modi College Patiala, one of the premium institute in the region made a tremendous progress in various fields. He had a very warm heart for the students and he stuck an instant rapport with the teachers.

Krishan Kumar Garg was well-read in the writings of Purana, Bhagavad Gita, Ramayan , Saints and Philosophers. He wrote a commentary on Bhagavad Gita which is also presented in this website. Form his childhood day Krishan Kumar Garg was actively involved in social help initiative like community information dissemination, education among masses & religious activity support.

This website is dedicated to his lifetime achievements as a Judge, Advocate, Social Worker, Educationist and Father.
